My Story

My name is Lina. I was born on 25th June 1983 in Doha, Qatar. I took the first step in publishing for children since I wrote my first Book in 2017, I wanted to see my special need daughter"Miryana" in books like others as she was born with severe brain damage, CP that led to some kinetic problems. The book was under"Let's Fly home" title. I wanted to tell children that she can be a very good friend and with little help she can play, dance and even race. With few words and simple illustration, I made my daughter happier with herself. I received a lot of positive feedback from other children and parents. when Miryana went to school for her first year it was a surprise that most of the children recognized her and welcomed her among them.

In 2018, I decided to take the plunge and dedicate myself full time to the writing profession. Since then, I’ve been very fortunate to have had my work featured in a variety of publications.
